Coach for Swansea City AFC Foundation Men’s Football Development Center

Position: Coach for Men’s Soccer Development Center (Temporary)

Aim: To deliver high quality community soccer sessions to young people in South West Wales, enabling them to develop their skills and attitudes, and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Work together with contracted staff to provide engaging and fun soccer activities at our Soccer Development Centers.

Support senior trainers to ensure that sessions are delivered to the highest quality.

Interact effectively with youth in sessions, being a positive role model.

Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.

Commit to continuing professional development (CPD) and attend seminars and training meetings as required.

Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as maintaining accurate attendance records, performing dynamic risk assessments, and completing accident reports.

Ensure that all equipment associated with the training program is correctly installed and properly maintained. General

Represent the Foundation’s mission to support inclusion by acting as a role model, ensuring that all activities are accessible and welcoming to all.

Ensure that the Foundation’s policies and procedures are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Data Protection and Safeguarding, and that all legal obligations are met, ensuring that the safety of participants, volunteers and staff (including their own) is prioritized at all times.

Ensure that all aspects of security are integrated into program implementation and that all activities are conducted in a safe and appropriate manner; and that all security concerns are communicated through the appropriate channels.

Present a good appearance and dress appropriately while performing your duties and on behalf of the Swansea City AFC Foundation. Contribute to the success of the Foundation by accepting new assignments, assisting team members, learning new skills and striving to improve team results.
