Coach of the Men’s Football Development Center for Swansea City AFC Foundation

The Swansea City AFC Foundation is looking for a coach from the Men’s Player Development Center (based in Cardiff) to join their team on an occasional basis.

Objective: To provide high-quality community soccer sessions to young people in South West Wales, allowing them to develop their skills and attitudes, and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Work together with hired staff to provide engaging and fun soccer activities at our Football Development Centers.

Support senior coaches to ensure that sessions are delivered with the highest quality.

Interact effectively with young people in sessions, being a positive role model.

Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and controlled environment.

Commit to continuing professional development (CPD) and attend seminars and training meetings as needed.

Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as maintaining accurate assistance records, conducting dynamic risk assessments, and completing accident reports.

Ensure that all equipment associated with the training program is properly installed and maintained properly.

Salary: A and B Leave: £16.88 per hour (plus 12.07% of the Working Time Directive. Football Leaders and C license: £12.31 per hour (plus 12.07% of the Working Time Directive.
