The FIFA World Cup 26™ will mark the first time that the tournament will feature 48 teams and will be organized by three countries: Canada, Mexico and the United States. Your main responsibilities will be:

* Collaborate in the execution of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the business objectives of the company and its target audience, including marketing plans, presentations and documentation for tactical implementation.

*Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of content creators, including writers, editors, designers and multimedia producers.

*Collaborate and coordinate with marketing, branding and other departments to ensure that the content supports the overall business objectives of the assigned tournaments.

*Work closely with creative, digital and social media teams to create cohesive and effective content campaigns that align with the brand’s voice, tone, and style guidelines.

*Coordinate the content creation process, from ideation to publication, ensuring that all content is consistent with the brand, accurate and of high quality.

*Create and obtain content approvals before publication, ensuring that it complies with media standards and brand guidelines.

*Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches and other key events.

*Optimize content workflows to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.

*Monitor, collect and analyze content performance data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies and create content that connects with the audience.

*Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines, incorporating SEO best practices to boost organic traffic.

*Keep up to date on SEO trends and algorithms to maintain and improve content visibility.

*Experiment with innovative content approaches, such as interactive content, video, and podcasts.

*Control expenses and ensure that content projects stay within budget.

*Communicate, present and report on content strategy, achievements, trends, results and content plans to senior management and stakeholders.

*Manage relationships with freelancers, agencies and other content partners.

*Ensure that all content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright laws, data protection regulations and advertising standards.

*Travel within Mexico to the United States and/or Canada may be required to meet the needs of the department (meetings, workshops, visits to facilities, other events, etc.).

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of higher education. *Proficiency in English and Spanish.

*Minimum 5 years of experience in content creation, development, creative strategy and leadership.

*Ability to understand and apply brand guidelines

*Experience in visual content, video recording, post-production and creative principles.

*Excellent communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail.

*Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation design.
