Emergency Preparedness Manager for FIFA World Cup 26, Mexico

Vacancy: Emergency Preparedness Manager.

The Regional Safety and Emergency Preparedness Manager will report to the Director of Safety and Emergency Preparedness. You will work closely with the Regional Security Director to manage the planning, coordination and implementation of comprehensive security and emergency functions in each region.

This key position will work closely with local emergency management, fire and rescue services (including firefighting, special operations, response to hazardous materials and human safety), emergency medical services and other local and regional partners.


REQUIREMENTS

*Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience in emergency preparedness and event management.

*Minimum 10 years of experience managing security and emergency management in large and complex organizations, specializing in large events.

*Experience at major international sporting events will be valued.

*Knowledge of safety in sporting events, emergency planning and best practices.

*Experience with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS). *Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

*Extensive knowledge of security risk management and emergency preparedness.

*Demonstrated experience in creating and/or managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders for a high-profile organization.

*Experience working in multicultural environments.

*Proficiency in English.

*MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project), planning software and online collaboration tools.

*Mastery of open source intelligence tools, access control technology, biometric identity solutions, enterprise access control technology, and video analysis.
