Technical coach for the Arsenal Women Football Club Academy.

We are looking for Academy Technical Coaches for the Arsenal Women Football Club. The positions are responsible for providing an effective training program for players aged 7 to 16 at the Women’s Academy and supporting their development through innovative planning, execution and management of training and match days.

What we are looking for

Applicant to obtain Level 3 UEFA B/FA (Essential Block 1)

FA Youth Award

Current member of the FA Licensed Coaches Club Updated Qualification in FA

Emergency Aid: Basic First Aid for Sports (BFAS) or Football First Aid (EFAIF) Level 2 FA Knowledge and understanding of child protection, including a current certificate from the FA

Child Protection Workshop Certificate of Disclosure and Exclusion (DBS) of the FA

( formerly known as the FA’s CRB Outreach Certificate)

Experience training youth players (7-16 years old)

Experience mentoring and developing other coaches 

Knowledge of the FA’s female and female player development program 

Knowledge and implications of Long-Term Player Development

Willingness to travel independently

Knowledge of the level of players required by Arsenal Women FC and knowledge of the Women’s Talent Program in England

Knowledge and implications of Long-Term Player Development and how to develop young female players Ability to work as part of a team of coaches and to motivate others Ability to build a strong relationship with players in their age group Ability to set realistic goals for players in their age group Excellent organization and time management skills
